It was a fantastic opportunity for all of us here in Parramatta Preschool having the Muru Mittigar which is an organisation that seeks to create a better understanding of Aboriginal culture in the wider community. The staff of Muru Mittigar showed children various Aboriginal artifacts such as boomerangs, coliman, possum skin, Emu egg, stone axe, Bundi club and musical instruments such as didgeridoos, emu callers and clap-sticks were explained and shown to children and passed on for them to explore. ...
