At Parramatta Preschool and Long Day Care, our family values are what sets us apart. With over 15 years of experience, we provide the highest quality care and education and are committed to providing all children from 6 weeks to 6 years, a home away from home. Every day, we strive to foster an environment where each child feels empowered to learn, play and build on their natural talents and curiosity to reach their full potential.
Our Curriculum
Our educational program is based upon the principles of the Australian Early Years Learning Framework: Belonging, Being and Becoming. This is specifically designed to ensure all children learn at their own pace and become confident, capable and active participants while attending our centre and through their transition to school. We provide a wide range of co-curricular activities and learning experiences such as gardening, learning languages, sand and water play, science experiments, yoga, dancing and music. We promote the importance of environmental sustainability throughout all programs and practices.
Health & Nutrition
Located in North Parramatta, we celebrate that all families, children and staff come from diverse backgrounds. Our in-house chef, cooks fresh, balanced and nutritious meals daily, so that your child understands how to make mindful food choices. Throughout the year, we celebrate different multicultural days with families, including Harmony Day, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Diwali and many more so that all children feel empowered to explore a variety of international cuisines, practice their culture and learn about others.
Educators
Parramatta Preschool and Long Day Care employs educators of the highest calibre. Our passionate and experienced team are qualified ranging from university-trained Early Childhood Teachers, diploma-trained educators, Certificate III certified educators and one trainee, who is currently obtaining her Certificate III certification. Our above-average child-to-educator ratio helps us develop personal relationships with children and families so that each child receives outstanding support and care.
